What you need

This app on its own does nothing. It plays audio sent to it by Group Bluetooth Audio running on a Mac, and streaming is a Pro feature of that app. You need both, on the same Wi-Fi network.

What It Does

One more speaker, already in your pocket.

Finds Your Mac

Open the app and any Mac running Group Bluetooth Audio on your network shows up in a list. Tap one and audio starts. It reconnects on its own if Wi-Fi drops or you walk out of range and back.

Auto-Discovery Auto-Reconnect

Control From Either End

Play, pause and skip from your phone — including the lock screen and Control Center. Your Mac treats the phone like any other speaker, with its own volume slider next to the rest.

Stays On Your Network

Audio goes straight from your Mac to your phone over your own Wi-Fi. It never passes through a server, is never recorded and is never stored. There are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.

No Servers No Accounts No Tracking

Built For A Real Network

Wi-Fi is not a cable. The app measures what your network is actually doing and sizes its buffer to match, correcting clock drift between the two devices and concealing the occasional lost packet rather than letting it become a skip.

Getting Started

Four steps, once.

1. Install both apps

Group Bluetooth Audio on your Mac, this companion on your iPhone.

2. Unlock Pro on the Mac

Streaming is a Pro feature. The companion app itself is free.

3. Turn on streaming

Mac app → Settings → Stream to iOS devices. macOS will ask for Screen Recording permission — that is how it captures system audio. The app records audio only, never your screen.

4. Connect

Open the companion, tap your Mac, and play something. Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Coming to the App Store

The companion app is a free download. Group Bluetooth Audio for Mac is available now.
